We’re incredibly proud to see five of our sites honoured in the Considerate Constructors Scheme 2020 National Site Awards – with one Gold, two Silvers and two Bronze awards.

As an industry leader with a proven record for providing exemplar safety and risk management, Midas Group is dedicated to supporting and protecting its people, subcontractors, customers and local communities.

All our projects are signed up to the Considerate Constructors Scheme, which is a hugely important and successful initiative and a fantastic example of our industry pulling together to raise standards across the sector.

It brings together not just safety but also the wider public perception of construction sites and our industry, how we respect the communities we work in and the welfare of the workforce on our sites.

We’re grateful to all our project teams, our partners and supply chain for their support and work in this respect every day.

And of course a big congratulations to the five projects singled out for recognition in this year’s awards:

Here’s what the judges said about each of the winning Midas Group projects:

 

Gold – Mount Wise Towers, Plymouth

Mi-Space has been awarded a Considerate Constructors Scheme Gold National Site Award for the incredible standards upheld during their Mount Wise Towers project.

This project showcased an exceptional approach to considerate practice through fantastic external appearances and brilliant work with the local community. The commitments shown in respect to the environment, safety and the workforce were exemplary.

2020 Gold National Site Award winners have performed to the highest standards of considerate construction, setting them apart from all other Scheme registered activities that completed on or before 31 December 2019.

Congratulations to Mi-Space and the site team for this remarkable achievement, a true credit to the construction industry.

 

Silver – Linac Unit, Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital

For their Linac Unit RDE Hospital project, Midas Construction Ltd has won a Silver Considerate Constructors Scheme 2020 National Site Award.

This project demonstrated excellent consideration towards the public, its workforce and the environment through adhering to the Scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice.
