New Exeter retail and trade counter development in prime trading location

A new, part pre-let retail and trade counter development by Eagle One is being built by Midas Construction in the heart of Exeter's commercials zone adjacent to Sainsbury's Superstore on Alphington Road, two miles south of the city centre.

The £4.5 million Alphington Retail Park Scheme includes 4 units and 74 parking spaces with planning consent for Bulky Goods retail and warehouse/trade counter floor space..

The accommodation comprises 23,300 sq ft and units 1 and 2 (9,800 sq ft) have been pre-let to Belron UK Trading as Autoglass while retail units 3 (4,600 sq ft) and 4 (8,900 sq ft) are to be speculatively built.  These are currently being marketed by joint agents Alder King and Macarthur Wilson.

Contractors Midas Construction began work on December 3rd 2012 with practical completion scheduled for June 2013.

Michael Bryant, Development Manager with Eagle One said: "What sets this commercial development apart is its superb location.  It is close to one of the main roads in and out of Exeter which is the financial and shopping hub of the region and is only minutes from the A30 for access to Cornwall and the South of England and Junction 31 of the M5 motorway for Bristol, London and the North. It is also well served by public transport into the city.

"Alphington Retail Park's location offers huge visitor potential. It is a gateway to Exeter's Marsh Barton Trading Estate, one of the region's largest commercial estates with over 500 businesses including car dealerships, builders' merchants, plant and tool hire businesses and also abuts Sainsbury's newly refurbished 90,000 sq ft superstore."

The premises are available to let on a new lease on full repairing and insuring terms and viewing can be arranged by joint sole agents Alder King (Scott Rossitier: 01392 353080) or Macarthur Wilson  (Richard Macarthur 0117 908 3350)
