Midas appoints new Business Development Director for Devon, Cornwall and South Somerset
Midas Construction has appointed a new Business Development Director for its Devon, Cornwall and South Somerset Division to continue to drive the growth of the company across the region.
Mike Borkowski joins Midas Group, one the UK’s largest privately-owned construction and property service providers, bringing with him a wealth of experience built up over 30 years in the industry.
He will be working closely with Divisional Director Andy McAdam and the wider team in what is an important and growing regional sector for Midas.
Mike’s career includes six years as a Director and General Manager at building services engineers Cannings, roles as a consultant to firms large and small across a wide variety of construction projects and most recently as a Framework Development Manager.
He will play a key role in managing existing customers, as well as building new customer relationships and developing project opportunities for Midas Construction. It’s part of Midas’s successful strategy emphasising a partnership approach, together with industry leading customer service and performance, which is already seeing 75 per cent of the Group’s projects being carried out on a repeat business basis.
Mike said: “I’m fortunate to have a wide range of experience in different areas of construction and have had the opportunity to experience the industry from both sides of the fence, working as both customer and contractor.
“I didn’t hesitate to accept when I was offered the role. As a regional company, Midas has a genuinely positive work outlook and truly values the relationships that it builds with businesses and customers.”
Andy McAdam, Midas Divisional Director for Devon, Cornwall and South Somerset, said: “We’re delighted to have Mike join the company and look forward to continuing to grow the business through our strong existing relationships, building new partnership and by delivering an excellent customer experience which means people keep coming back to us.”
