- Contract terms: JCT Design and Build 2011

- Completed: LIVE PROJECT
- Site features and challenges: Due to its city centre location the site set up is in the basement of the building. The works require a full scaffold with one element of the scaffolding cantilevered out over the waters of the River Avon. - Community Benefits: This repurposing of an office block into city centre residential living is positive where the regeneration of Bristol city centre is concerned. The local team design and engineering team have created an exemplary project and the local Mi-space site delivery team are cycling to work every day to avoid the city centre congestion and parking.
This live project involves the conversion and refurbishment of Bristol City Centre office space into 59 2bed and 3bed private residential apartments for Terrace Hill (part of Urban and Civic Plc). Mi-space are constructing a new storey on the top of the building, installing a new roof and lift shaft.
The apartments are being fitted out to an luxury specification and the building envelope enhanced with new windows and external cladding.
Designed by Alec French Architects the schemes proximity to the river Avon and the Historic Bristol Bridge makes this a highly desirable location and a key element of the ongoing Bristol waterfront regeneration.
