A fast track retail refurbishment of a Co-operative unit to a Waitrose store on Sherborne High Street. The works comprised a full strip-out, re-fit to sales floor area to the agreed Waitrose layout, and refurbishment of back of house and warehouse areas. The fit-out works to the sales floor area included repairs to the terrazzo floor, complete installation of M+E and refrigeration services, the construction of specialised food counters, installation of customer rest areas, checkouts and customer service kiosk. Back of house a staff room, canteen, training space and cash office were constructed, and new warehousing facilities, plant and building management system installed. Environmental features include LED lighting, heat pumps, balers and compactors. The store was handed over in multiple phases; Waitrose took partial possession after 16 days to start moving in merchandise. GIA = 18,000ft², Sales floor area = 12,000ft²
