Project Information
This design and build project comprised a phased refurbishment and Cat B fit out works, to an occupied office building in Bristol city centre. Located in a prominent position in proximity to Temple Meads train station, Network Rail sublet the building and remained in occupation throughout the project.
Midas completed the works to this five-storey building in phases to mitigate disruption to the building’s tenants, with sectional handover to the customer.
Works included a demolition soft strip; increasing the height of reception from 1.5 to two storeys; full refurbishment; removal of the terracotta fin over the reception; extending the new two-storey glazed façade to wrap the entrance plaza and new reception; increasing the bike storage provision and cycling routes; and upgrading the landscaping.
The project achieved BREEAM Very Good.
