Corporate Social Responsibility

Midas is committed to ethical behaviour and to sustainable economic development, while improving the quality of life of its workforce and their families, as well as the local community and society at large.

Corporate Social Responsibility has become topical in recent years with organisations from every conceivable business sector waving their CSR flag. Midas has been involved in socially responsible activity since it was first established in 1976 – long before it was called CSR. It is a fundamental part of who we are and how we operate as a company, and a reflection on the high calibre of people we employ.

Recognising that communicating an effective CSR policy was crucial to our continued success, we formalised matters in 2006 by publishing the Midas Group Corporate Social Responsibility Mission Statement and Policy.

We expect to be judged by these standards and aim to exceed the expectations of all our key stakeholders: customers, staff, suppliers and the communities in which we work.
