Refurbishment and reconfiguration of an existing Next store at Bluewater Shopping Mall, Dartford, over two floors in three phases.

This project involved the refurbishment and reconfiguration of an existing Next store at the Bluewater Shopping Mall, Dartford, over two floors in three phases. Both levels extended their floor space to incorporate the units next to them, one a former Thomas Cook store and the other a former Hotel Chocolat store. This allowed the creation of a new Lipsy woman's area, mens department, women's and children's departments for Next. The staff facilities included administration offices, toilets, cash and communication rooms, staff canteen and training space. The works were carried out over three phases and also included works on a Next satellite warehouse which was based three miles away. Those works included demolition of existing racking and refurbishment of electrics, new lift and mezzanine floor and installation of a new full racking system.
