Midas were the successful winner of this traditional tender for a project to create a new wet and dry Spa complex within the existing Grade II Listed Victorian Walled Garden. The Spa facilities include:
- Spa pool
- Sauna
- Steam room
- Treatment rooms
- Changing facilities
- Reception
- External landscaping and patio area
- Relaxation Bar
The Hotel remained fully operational throughout our works. Careful consideration was given to the project execution plan which included:
- A Health Safety and Environmental Plan to completely segregate construction traffic and activities from the Hotel - minimising vehicle movements, dust and noise
- A working plan - not to disrupt the hotels guests during their stay, this involved condensed working hours
- Daily meetings with the Hotel management team to manage risk and expectations
- A Check system with the hotel for unavoidable noise related activities
- Forming a second access point into the hotels ground away from the main hotels access for construction traffic and deliveries
