Tremough Campus Phase2

Falmouth Cornwall, Falmouth

Project: £12 million Design & Construct 301 Study bedrooms together with 2 staff flats, Staff mess area, Administration building, launderette, surfboard lockers, Bicycle Storage and External Works

New build Student accommodation on campus comprising of 5 accommodation blocks and 301 student bedrooms with integral kitchen facilities, Extension to the existing Porter's lodge, 2 staff flats, 2 laundries and additional car parking.

Timber frame construction on vibro piled foundations. External elevations were treated with a mixture of cedar panelling, granite, slate and render. Internally the student bedrooms were fitted to a high standard with all fitted furniture and fittings forming part of the contract

Work also included forming a MUGA area with a bunded area around it to form a natural amphitheatre (This reduced the environmental impact of the project by allowing all surplus excavated material to be retained on site)
