Midas Construction has recently completed the new shopping centre - The Gateway in Trowbridge, for developer Parkridge.
The Gateway is a town centre development which offers around 75,000 sq ft (6,503 sq m) of retail accommodation, along with 11 residential units. The development also includes some 5,000 sq ft (1,115 sq m) of office space and 240 additional car parking spaces.
This is the first of two exciting schemes, providing further additional retail outlets as part of the town centre regeneration programme in Trowbridge.
In recent years, retailers and major employers have been moving away from Trowbridge and therefore denting the local job market, The Gateway however, will provide valuable new jobs for the local community.
Leading high street fashion brands Next, New Look and international footwear retailer Brantano have been the first retailers to take space at The Gateway.
