As part of the Orphan Store Programme the Sainsbury’s store at Potters Bar underwent a major refurbishment to upgrade all aspects of the customer experience to the current Sainsbury’s specification.
The store was completely rebranded to fit in with the Sainsbury’s standard store format model.
During a seven-week programme the store had new sales floor fixtures and refrigerated cabinets installed, which included the installation of a new style delicatessen. Further sales floor introductions included an enhanced non-food offer, including audio, electrical and homeware departments. There were also major changes to all refrigerated and mechanical plant and equipment
Externally the store received new signage to the building facades and the car park.
