Our people are the lifeblood of our business and pivotal to our continued success.

The quality of service provided and the professionalism demonstrated have a direct influence on the high level of repeat business we enjoy.

We continue to provide the opportunity to develop staff to their full potential through the award-winning Midas Academy, providing bespoke in-house training, allowing individuals to fulfil their own personal development goals.

The 2011 annual group-wide ‘People Matters' survey saw some two-thirds of employees responding with overall satisfaction of 67%, once again exceeding the industry average in what is a very challenging economic climate.

As a business which works in the heart of many communities, Midas knows the importance of engaging in consultation as well as contributing to economic and social wellbeing.

As a community-facing business we understand how important it is to be professional and considerate at all times, especially when dealing with members of the public.

Initiatives that benefit society and local communities feature strongly in our approach to corporate responsibility and include not only financial assistance, but also contributions of time and resource.

Midas actively encourages participation in community projects, with staff undertaking many hours of voluntary work and charity fundraising.

 

All Midas sites are registered on the Considerate Constructors Scheme and monitored against an 8-point Code of Considerate Practice. In 2011 we achieved an average score across all Midas Group businesses of 33/40, equivalent to 83%.
