ATS Euromaster, one of the largest comprehensive tyre distributors in the UK, rolled in to witness construction company Midas start work on its brand new premises at Redruth.
The company, which employs over 13,000 staff worldwide, has signed a deal with Midas to build its new Redruth Service Centre after moving out of its premises at Barncoose Lane in Redruth.
ATS Euromaster will move its employees and operations to one of the new industrial units on the £3 million Carn Brea Business Park. The new property is just one of the fourteen units within the 43,000 sq ft development. The six employees that make up the Redruth team will be able to move into the finished unit this September.
The Service Centre manager for ATS Euromaster in Redruth, Carmelo Moscato, said: “Since moving out of our old premises we’ve been operating out of a Portakabin at our Hayle site, so it’ll be great to move into the new unit and get back to business as normal. My team has been fantastic throughout the transition – they are keeping our clients and customers happy by maintaining the level of service they expect and I’m sure once we’re in our new home we’ll carry out our work even more efficiently.”
Terry Murch, a director at Midas, said: “The quality of this site has been reflected by the diverse range of businesses that have moved in – we’ve got some strong local businesses as well as large multinational businesses like ATS Euromaster. With only two units now remaining it won’t be long before we have a full community operating from the Carn Brea Business Park that will benefit the local economy and bring new jobs.”
The units are being built by the St Austell office of Midas.
Midas site manager Richard Tregunna said: “The new units have all been constructed to give maximum flexibility to each business, providing a blank canvas to create a working area that suits the needs of their business operations.”
