‘After leaving Midas in April 2006 with some 6 ½ years service behind me, it was only 11 months later that I found myself rejoining the company.
My main reasons for doing so, were that I felt that because of the structure that existed within the business and the size of the South Wales Division there was far more opportunity for me to progress my career to the next level.

The attraction for me of working for Midas was working within a different business area. Having spent over 20 years in a manufacturing environment coming to work for a construction company was a new and exciting challenge.
At interview stage it was explained that Midas were looking for new people to bring new/fresher ideas into a company that had grown rapidly and now needed to expand the infrastructure to keep up.
This made the company sound very appealing, fresher with a genuine interest in the experience/ideas/views of its employees. Somewhere I wanted to work, contribute to and hopefully make a difference to.
I was impressed with the professional way in which the interviews were conducted, as well as the amount of information given in terms of company profile, job description and access to website information.
