Ian joined Midas Construction in 1998 to head up the Somerset and North Devon Division, based at the Taunton office. Most of their workload is now repeat business, from happy customers. Ian’s way is to lead by example and makes it his business to keep his finger on the pulse in his Division.
Ian started his career in Scotland working for Henry Boot where he gained experience in all aspects of construction work before deciding to specialise in project management. Ian moved to the south west in the early 80’s to join Mowlem, he became Regional Manager for the Exeter office where he greatly improved turnover and profitability. Lured to Midas by the new owners in 1998 he has quickly built up a hardworking team of loyal competent staff.
Ian’s hobbies are golf and football which he follows with a passion.
