Midas was taken on by property management company Erinaceous to fit out its new regional offices at The Core, St Thomas Street.
The building, which has recently been extended and refurbished, is a mixed development of office and residential space.
Midas’s work for Erinaceous involved creating a communications room, meeting rooms, video conferencing room and board room, as well as relocating and supplementing the existing lighting and air conditioning. The main open-plan office areas were fitted with cellular office space and ancillary areas formed from solid and glazed partitioning with Walnut-veneered doors. Partitions were painted and floors carpeted, and a timber floor fitted in the breakout coffee area.
The £650,000 project took 10 weeks to complete, including early client access to install data cabling and IT installations, and furniture delivery in the last week of the project.
