Cardiology Expansion - Midas Group | Midas Construction | Midas Interiors | Midas Developments

This project was completed by Midas Construction Ltd as part of the Department of Health Procure 21 Framework.  Midas, in Joint Venture with two other contractors created the healthcare specific delivery vehicle of Medicinq to provide a national service for Procure 21. Midas undertake all construction works in the South West as the Principle Supply Chain Member for Medicinq.

This Cardiology Expansion, provided Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust with a second Catheter Lab, which helps the Trust to provide a quicker and enhanced service for cardiology patients in Somerset and meets the demand for more ‘revascularisation' procedures. The demand, which is set to double by 2012 was set as a priority by the National Service Framework (NSF) for Coronary Heart Disease and the NHS Plan.
