Corporate Social Responsibility has become topical in recent years with organisations from every conceivable business sector waving their CSR flag. Midas has been involved in socially responsible activity throughout its 30 year history - long before it was called CSR. It is a fundamental part of who we are and how we operate as a company, and a reflection on the high calibre of people we employ.
We recognise that an effective CSR policy is crucial to our continued success, and to that effect in 2006 formalised our group CSR policy and issued our first annual CSR report. We expect to be judged by these standards and aim to exceed the expectations of all our key stakeholders: customers, staff, suppliers, the communities in which we work, and the environment.
A key medium-term aim is to participate in the Business in the Community (BiTC) Corporate Responsibility Index as a means of benchmarking our CSR activities against like-minded companies. Ultimately, we aim to be ranked in BiTC’s annual Top 100 Companies that Count list.
