The Midas Group is committed to achieving the highest possible standards of Health & Safety on all of their projects.
As part of this Group strategy it is our policy that from the 1st January 2009 all Midas employees and members of the Midas Supply Chain working on any Midas Group project, will be required to hold a current CSCS card applicable to their employed trade or professional discipline.
This policy is in line with that adopted by the MCG (Major Contractors Group) and highlights the Midas Group strategy of ensuring that a fully qualified workforce is employed across every project and all trades.
If you are an individual interested in applying for a role with the Midas Group, or are a recruitment consultancy intending to supply staff to Midas, please be aware that applications from candidates who do not have, or cannot prove they are in the process of obtaining, the relevant CSCS accreditation, will not be considered.
Details on the CSCS Card Scheme can be obtained by contacting the CITB Construction Skills or CSCS Ltd, details shown in the attached 8 Steps to CSCS Cards. In addition SkillsDirect ‘one stop' service will give specific information on how to obtain a CSCS Card.
