Alan is the Chief Executive at the Midas Group with overall responsibility for business performance in all Midas Companies.
Alan joined Midas in 2004 and has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining Midas, Alan was a Managing Director at Carillion Building, having been a member of their graduate trainee intake.
During his time at Carillion, Alan was involved in the Tarmac/Wimpey asset swap and the de-merger of Carillion from Tarmac.
Alan has experience of all forms of construction industry procurement, including PFI, and has had over 16 years at business management level.
Alan is a member of RICS and the IOD.
Since joining Midas, Alan has driven the restructuring of Midas into 5 customer facing companies of Construction, Retail, Interiors, Mi-space and Developments.
The Midas brand has also been refreshed and modernised and now incorporates the Midas icon, representing the three pillars which underpin the Midas strategy of People, Partnerships and Performance.
In 2009, the new Midas Vision was launched signalling the aim for Midas to become widely acclaimed for industry leading performance and customer service.
